PAEHolmes’ sister company, Toxikos, a well respected consultancy in toxicology and risk assessment, has contributed to several public reports of interest to practitioners in air quality, water quality and occupational health.

Safework Australia has recently published a Toxikos report on the Toxicology and Health Effects of Engineered Nanomaterials. Find it here.

A National Health and Medical Research Council report on setting ambient air standards involved significant contributions from Toxikos principals Dr Roger Drew and John Frangos. It can be found here.

Toxikos also contributed to an Environment and Heritage Protection Council report on Recycled Water Quality, in particular Section 2 on setting guidelines for chemicals in recycled water and the validation in Appendix 1. See it here.

PAEHolmes and Toxikos have worked together on a number of high-profile industrial projects requiring detailed air quality modelling and impact assessment, including human health and ecological risk assessments.
